A Must for all women!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
As a future midwife and current nursing student, my biggest fear for women today is the lack of education on their rights in regards to their own healthcare. Many women do not question the medications or therapies their doctors suggest, and unfortunately many health professionals are prone to the “quick fix.” This leaves many women disappointed in side effects or unaware of potential damage occurring within their bodies. This book is a must for all women seeking true answers to their health options as well as options for their children. It is enlightening and informative, and it does not discount traditional medicine all together. It simply encourages women to take an active role in their healthcare and know that they have rights and choices during a very important time in their lives. Thank you, Miranda Castro for an educational, comprehensive, and non-biased reference!

A definate must have!

It took me a little while to familiarise myself with this book, but once I understood the layout I found it to be one of the best investments I made in preparation for my baby.

In addition to the homeopathy information, this book contains practical advice for common issues encountered during pregnancy and baby’s first year. It is all presented in a completely non-judgemental way.

I would highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to use homeopathy during their pregnancy, childbirth or for their baby.

Must Have Book for Pregnancy and Motherhood
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Not only does this book give you very specific information on using homeopathic remedies, it focuses on emotional as well as physical symptoms (which is essential to homeopathy). The sections on labor and post-partum are some of the most informative I’ve read in my pregnancy. Detailed, honest, and non-judgmental, the book covers the myriad and often complicated emotions mothers may encounter during pregnancy and labor, and offers ways to deal with these issues naturally (often with simple practices like taking a bath). This book covers, in detail, several birth complications, and ways the mother can deal with these during labor. This is all done with very easy to read and matter of fact language. No foofy new-age stuff here. I wish every pregnant woman in the world could have the information contained in this book. If you are considering it, BUY IT NOW!

Presents conventional and holistic advice in a nonjudgemental and balanced way. Wish the book was more focused on homeopathy.

This book is a must have…

If you are expecting, a parent, professional or person interested in homeopathy – especially for children, this is a great book. I ordered this book in the mid stages of my interest in homeopathy…now I am at the career stage and I still use this as a secondary reference book. It’s very well organized, includes many common childhood illnesses/concerns, clear to understand, has a materia medica section and repertory. It may also be very helpful for specifics regarding children, that may otherwise be more obscure or lacking in other reference books. The author has already extracted many of those specifics, allowing you to have a quick point of reference for diagnosis. Definitely, one of the better books on homeopathy regarding children, allowing focus on their common symptoms and characteristics. This allows you to select their remedy picture more accurately, offering more overall success with homeopathy. Happy reading…

I started using this book when I was 8 months Pregnant and have used it ever since. I find that I turn to it at least once a week to find a remedy for my family and friends. This is a great book!
